Mike has been credited with having the vision to help build a master-planned resort in Lake Havasu, Arizona, and with helping to revitalize downtown Santa Ana, Calif., after he purchased buildings in the district and filled them with art galleries, restaurants, and a performing arts center.
He restoration work has included old banks and iconic city buildings that he transformed into a performing arts center, a high school for the arts, a new home for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
IN 2014, MIKE RECEIVED THE WILLIAM H SPURGEON PIONEER AWARD FOR HIS VISION, COMMITMENT, AND INVESTMENT IN REVITALIZING DOWNTOWN SANTA ANA, CALIF.
